Mekong Restaurant a family-owned and operated Vietnamese eatery located in the heart of Kingston, Ontario. We have an opening for 1 Food Counter Attendant.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Greeting customers as they arrive and making them feel welcome
• Determining the products desired by the customer, assisting customer in making a choice and taking orders
• Preparing simple food and beverage items and reheating prepared meals
• Communicating food and drink orders to the kitchen staff
• Assembling and packaging takeaway orders
• Maintaining cleanliness standards by keeping the counters, tableware, and utensils clean.
• Replenishing food supplies when required.
• Presenting customers with the bill and processing payments.

Skill Requirements:
• Past experience as a food counter attendant or similar role is an asset
• Maintains a clean appearance
• Can work well in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
• Great communication and coordination skills
• High level of physical endurance
• Can work on weekends and holidays, and can handle shifting work schedules
