Location: Toronto, ON (M6E 1B8) – Projects throughout the GTA & surrounding regions
Position Type: Full-Time, Term/Contract (Jan 4, 2027 – Jan 1, 2029)
Pay Rate: $36.92 CAD / hour (40 hours/week)
Schedule: Days, Early Mornings | Overtime may be required

We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and leadership-oriented Carpenter to join our team on the road.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Carpenter capable of managing jobsite tasks independently and leading small site teams. This position is ideal for a proactive tradesperson who thrives in dynamic outdoor environments and takes pride in taking projects from initial layout to fine details.
Key Responsibilities
* Framing & Structural: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems using wood, lightweight steel, and composite materials.
* Finishing & Installations: Fit and install doors, windows, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to exact specification.
* Layout & Planning: Interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings to prepare precise layouts that comply fully with local building codes.
* Renovation & Repairs: Perform maintenance and structural renovation across residential sites and other specialized facilities.
* Site Leadership: Instruct apprentices and supervise small crews (5–10 workers), ensuring safety and quality on site.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years of hands-on carpentry experience in residential or commercial construction.
* Education: Secondary (high) school diploma or equivalent.
* Language: Professional working proficiency in English.
* Mobility & Logistics: Must have own reliable transportation and be willing to travel regularly to sites across the GTA.
* Safety Gear Required: Personal PPE including steel-toed boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles.
* Physical Capability: Ability to manage physically demanding tasks (bending, kneeling, crouching, standing for long periods, and lifting heavy loads).
* Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, punctual, team-oriented, organized, and reliable.
