Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Floor Covering Installer to join our team. As a Floor Covering Installer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality flooring solutions across residential and commercial projects. You will be responsible for measuring, preparing surfaces, and installing various types of floor coverings with precision and attention to detail.

Duties:
– Install hardwood floors, including strip, block, or plank types, utilizing glue, staples, nails, or other application methods.
– Stretch carpeting with a knee-kicker or power stretcher and anchor it to the floor or other surfaces with a staple gun or similar tools.
– Inspect and mend damaged flooring materials.
– Measure, cut, and install resilient flooring with adhesives, rollers, and various hand tools.
– Examine, measure, and mark surfaces designated for covering.
– Measure, cut, and secure underlay and padding.
– Measure, cut, and apply carpeting using hand or machine stitchers, seaming irons, bonding tape, or alternative adhesives.
– May calculate material and labor expenses.

– Completion of Secondary school
