Deacon’s Corner is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager.

Job Title: Restaurant Manager
Employer: XCCL Hospitality Management Ltd. o/a Deacon’s Corner
Working Location#1: 101 Main Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, V6A 2S5
Working Location#2: 3189 West Broadway, Vancouver, British Columbia, V6H 2H2
Working Hours: 40 hrs/ wk
Wage: $38.00 / Hour
(Overtime will be paid at 1.5 times the regular wage after 8hrs/day and/or after 40hrs/wk.)
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
Benefits: 10 days paid vacation or 4 % vacation fee

Job Duties, but not limited to the following:
• Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
• Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
• Evaluate, plan and organize daily operations
• Recruit staff, set staff work schedules and supervise staff
• Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
• Monitor revenues to determine labour cost and cost products and services
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities and manage events
• Participate in marketing plans and implementation
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns and provide customer service

Qualification:
• Completion of College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma program or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in the food service industry required.
• Fluent in English; Excellent oral communication and excellent written communication.
