Job Description

Wilco Construction Northwest Inc., 14420-154th Ave., NW Edmonton AB is seeking 30 construction labourers. Seasonal positions – March 2027 to November 2027 (up-to 10-12 hours a day, 6 days a week). Various locations in and around Edmonton. Must commit to the whole season.

Wage: $28.00/hour
Overtime after 44 hours per week.
Education: Basic
Experience: 1-2 years

Duties:
-Building retaining walls, paving stone installation, concrete forming and laying pavers.
-Load and unload construction materials.
-Clean and pile salvaged materials.
-Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
-Carpenter’s helper.
-Help build structures
-Underground utility installation and other types of civil work.
-Mobilize and spread soil and other materials.
-Operate small packers.
-Load sod plant flowers, grass, shrubs and trees.
-Perform all other construction related duties as directed.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

A valid class 5 license and a reliable vehicle is mandatory for local employees. Will look at applicants for a ride-share who do not have a license. Must be willing to work in ALL weather conditions. Must be 18 years or older.
