Job Description

Van Driel Farms Ltd. NW23-8-25-W4, Fort MacLeod, AB is seeking a Farm Supervisor. Permanent, full-time. Rural area. English speaking workplace.

Wage: $27.50/hour
Education: Basic
Experience: 2-3 years
Benefits: Health/Dental

Duties: Recognize and treat any health issues in sheep and cattle. Feed and tend to the animals. Handling animals. Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain livestock performance records. Maintain quality control and production records. Maintain work records and logs. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Supervise and direct general farm workers cleaning yard, fixing fences, barns and pens. Supervise all livestock related programs. Formulate the feeding programs and direct cattle herdspersons.
Perform general farm duties.

Weekend work is required, including Sundays. Must be able to work in ALL weather conditions.
