TRIPLE R FENCING INC. is seeking a qualified and reliable Network Support Technician (NOC 22220) to maintain and support the company’s computer systems, network infrastructure, hardware, software, and related technical equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring reliable and efficient operation of the company’s IT and network systems and providing technical support to users. Our office is located at 7-5431 TWP RD 325B NE W5M BOX 971, SUNDRE AB T0M1X0.
Location: On site; Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Wages: $36.50 per hour/ 30 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Full-time permanent position
Start Date: As soon as possible

Job requirements: Language: English
Education: Completion of a college or other program in computer science, network administration, Web technology or a related field.
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Job duties:
• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and administer LAN and WAN networks, computer workstations, Internet connections, servers, and peripheral equipment.
• Assess, install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware, networking equipment, operating systems, and software applications.
• Monitor the performance and operation of computer systems and networks using monitoring tools and consoles.
• Provide technical support and problem-solving assistance to network users and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and system-related issues.
• Perform routine network start-up and shutdown procedures and maintain accurate system and operational records.
• Conduct regular data backups and assist with disaster recovery and system restoration procedures.
• Perform system and network testing and implement security and quality-control measures to ensure reliable operations.
• Perform basic scripting and automation tasks to support system and network administration.
• Monitor network performance, identify potential issues, and take corrective measures to maintain system reliability.
• May supervise, train, and provide technical guidance to other computer and network support staff.
