Job Description

● Prepare and cook a wide variety of traditional Vietnamese meals such as Pho, Crispy Spring Roll Vermicelli, Grilled Pork & Rice Dish, and other dishes according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards.
● Manage prep work including slicing, marinating, boiling stocks, and assembling ingredients.
● Ensure food is presented attractively and consistently, with attention to portion size and plating.
● Maintain a clean and well-organized cooking station, following hygiene and food safety standards.
● Monitor inventory and inform the supervisor when ingredients or supplies need to be ordered.
● Assist in receiving, unpacking, and storing deliveries properly.
● Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service, especially during peak hours.
● Occasionally support training of junior kitchen staff or new team members.

Required languages: English at least CLB 4

Education level: Completion of a college or other program in Culinary Arts, Cooking, or a related trade certificate or diploma

Required skills: Knowledge of traditional Vietnamese cooking techniques and recipes; Knife skills and food prep; Attention to food presentation and portion control; Basic food safety and sanitation practices; Ability to work efficiently during peak hours; Teamwork and communication with kitchen staff.
