Sleegerdale Farms Ltd. 4266 Westchester Bourne, Belmont, ON is seeking a Dairy Farm Foreman. English speaking workplace. Rural Area. Full-time, permanent position.

Wage: $19.40/hour
Experience: 3 years

Duties: Supervise milking operations to ensure milk quality standards. Monitor animal health and newborn calves and identifying illness or injury. Coordinating with veterinarians for treatment and vaccinations. Oversee feeding schedules and nutrition programs. Keep animal welfare and bio-security standards in place. Schedule work shifts and labour needs. Ensure the milking system is cleaned to the highest standards after each use. Ensure compliance with dairy sanitation and health regulations. Inspecting and maintaining milking systems, tractors and machinery. Arrange for repairs when needed. Record milk production, breeding, treatments and feed usage. Manage the dairy herd. Report to owners daily on the diary farm operations. General farm duties to ensure the health and well being of the cattle.

Weekend work is required, including Sundays.
