Job Description
An 87-year-old woman from Picture Butte is seeking a live-in caregiver. Rural area. Permanent, full-time (35-40 hours per week) English-speaking workplace.
Wage: $21.00/hour
Education: Caregiver certificate
Experience: 2 – 3 years experience with caregiving (adults, person with disabilities)
Duties:
Organizing and promting to take medications, showers, personal care. Help with personal care and appearance. Watch for any health changes and notify family of any changes. Prepare balanced meals and encourage regular mealtimes. Complete grocery shopping and any other shopping that may be needed. Maintain a caldender of all appointments and events (work with family members) Drive to events, church, medical appointments, and any other appointments that may be needed. House cleaning, linen changes and laundry. Provide companionship, participate in games and activities to aid in the general quality of life for her.
