Job Title: Personal Support Worker / Caregiver (Elderly Care)
Location: Calgary, Alberta (T3N 2N6)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Start Date: As soon as possible
Vacancies: 1

Salary: $22.00 per hour (35 to 40 hours per week)

Schedule includes Morning, Day, Evening, and Early Morning shifts.

Work Location: On-site only. Work must be completed at the physical location. No remote work option.

Work Environment: Non-smoking environment. Optional live-in accommodation available at no charge. This is not a condition of employment. Relocation costs covered by employer.

Job Responsibilities

Administer bedside and personal care
Administer medications
Assist with bathing and personal hygiene
Support regular exercise such as walking
Feed or assist with feeding
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Plan therapeutic diets and menus
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Mend clothing and linens
Provide companionship and emotional support
Provide overall personal care

Education & Experience: Secondary school graduation certificate required & 1 to less than 7 months of related experience

Required Certifications: CPR Certificate & First Aid Certificate

Caring for: Elderly individual

Additional Requirements: Criminal record check required, Ability to lift up to 23 kg or 50 lbs, Comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking

Personal Qualities: Dependable, Organized, Patient, Honest, Strong interpersonal skills
