Job Description

One full-time vacancy. Work Monday – Friday from 8 AM – 4:30 PM for 40 hours a week. Duties include administering medications, assisting with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, preparing and serving nutritious meals, launder clothing and linens, light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Provides personal care and companionship. Non-smoking and scent-sensitive working environment.

Required languages: English

Education level: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Required skills: One year to less than two years of experience. Physical capabilities include: bending, crouching, kneeling, a combination of sitting, standing and walking. Fast paced environment. Physically demanding work. Must be able to lift heavier weight of 45-60 kgs (100-132 lbs) and work under pressure. The position includes repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.

Additional skills / Assets: Immunization, criminal and vulnerable sector checks all required. Physical capabilities include bending, crouching, and kneeling, a combination of sitting, standing and walking. Must be punctual, dependable, possess excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills, be flexible, and show initiative. Must possess good judgement, be organized and reliable. Must be patient and honest. Must have a client focus.
