Job Summary

We offer concrete and precast projects to our customers. We are looking for a construction equipment mechanic with skilled trade skills to add value and efficiency to our work. We pride ourselves on delivering first-class products and excellent workmanship, and we need a construction labourer who will help maintain our standards and perform the role’s duties well.

Job Duties

Install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools
Operate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up of machinery
Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment.
Check bulldozers, cranes, graders, and other heavy construction equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers’ specifications
Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment
May perform repair work on heavy trucks

Job Requirements

Certificate or diploma in mechanical trade
Ability to work in hot or cold weather and a noisy environment
Ability to communicate in English- written and oral
At least 3 years of mechanical equipment work experience
