Paladin Security Group Ltd is looking for a Full-Time Shift Supervisor (NOC 62029-2)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 30-40 hours per week, $21.63 to $25.00/hour, with benefits.
Job Description:
• Supervise site Security Officers and support in all responsibilities delegated to them.
• Act as a resource for security issues in accordance with PSG Policy and Procedure. Ensure staff’s adherence to guidelines and standards.
• Maintain and enforce all Paladin and client policies and procedures on site and ensure the highest standard of our security program on site. For example, dress and deportment, quality of reporting, mentoring, and developing staff, etc.
• Ensure all reports are completed and that each Officer submits accurate daily reports and incident reports. Follow up with inaccuracies or omissions. Review, edit and approve all site Incident Reports in reporting software and escalate incidents as required.
• Liaise with facility and client representatives, while representing both the client and Paladin Security with the utmost professionalism.
• Conduct site orientation and training of new officers, ensuring site orientation packages and officer review tests are completed within the allotted training period. Monitor performance and behavior of officers and document/discipline staff where standards are not being met.
• Maintain departmental site and training schedule, ensuring that all shifts are covered and assisting with shift coverage where needed. Ensure all officers meet the training requirements of the site.
• Arrange coverage for any open shifts due to last-minute book-offs, medical emergencies, etc.
• Remain on-call after-hours as the on-duty Officer’s first point of contact for emergency issues.
• Ensure all Officers have read and signed all Paladin Health and Safety Policy and Procedure and to ensure any accidents are reported in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as required.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Security Officer or related
• Basic Security Licence
• Must have no police records
• Language in the workplace is English
