Job Description

O’Brien family in Ottawa ON seeking childcare giver/nanny to provide care for 1 toddler under 2 years old.

Supervise and care for child in employer’s residence.

Bathe, dress, feed nutritious meals to child.

Plan, prepare and serve family meals and perform other housekeeping duties.

Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.

Tend to the emotional well-being of children and support their social development.

Provide age-appropriate educational training through organized activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings.

Take children to and from activities and appointments as needed.

Maintain accurate records of daily activities, meals and health information for the child.

Required languages: English

Education level: Completion of high school, college level education especially in child care, or equivalent experience

Required skills: Must be highly organized and efficient, display initiative, nurturing, honest, trustworthy, adept in cooking nutritious meals

Additional skills / Assets: First Aid Certification
