We are constantly growing and currently looking for the right person to join our team as an Assembly Technician

Open positions: Two (2)
Work Location: 975 Crowley Avenue, Kelowna, BC V1Y 9R6
This position is full time Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Job type: Full-time

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Be able to work in group settings on large projects and follow the direction of the project leader(s)
• Be able to work independently on smaller projects
• Be able to read and understand schematics (hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical)/shop drawings
• Be able to work alone with little supervision to trouble shoot, diagnose and service a wide range of hydraulic equipment
• Be able to set up components on test bench and interpret and record test results
• Should be familiar with hydraulic circuits and use of test equipment (e.g. flow meter)

Work Environment:

• Mostly indoors, Service/Assembly Department
• Eye protection and steel toed boots required on site
• Continuing education programs may be offered on an as needed basis

Qualifications:

• Post-Secondary training: Mechanical and/or hydraulic background is an asset
• High School graduate, Grade 12
• Safety training, safe work habits
• Good communication skills
• Minimum class 5 driver’s license
• Personal tools

• $25.00 to $27.50 per hour, 40 hours per week. Wage is commensurate with experience.
