Position: Liquor store Supervisor
Number of Positions: 1
Duration: Full time Permanent
Education requirement: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience requirement: 1 year to less than 2 years.
Language: English
Start Date: As soon as possible
Wage: $22.00 /hour, 35 hours per week.

Job Duties:
• Supervise cashiers, and stock staff
• Assign duties, shifts and manage schedules
• Train new employees on store procedures, customer service, and legal requirements (ID checks)
• Monitor employee performance and provide feedback
• Handle customer complaints or escalated issues
• Assist customers with product selection, including knowledge of wines, spirits, and beers
• Monitor stock levels and reorder products
• Receive and inspect deliveries
• Ensure storage and display shelves are organized.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and manage shrinkage (loss/theft)
• Ensure products are displayed attractively and according to promotions
• Track sales performance and meet targets
• Ensure store follows provincial liquor regulations
• Oversee cash registers and daily transactions
• Prepare deposits and reconcile cash at the end of shifts
• Follow workplace safety standards
