Kingdom Farms Inc. near Bentley and Joffre, AB. requires 4 full-time Swine Herdspersons to perform the following duties on their pig farm:

Barn Locations: NE15-40-1-W5, Bentley, Alberta T0C 0J0 and SW26-39-25-W4, Lacombe, Alberta T4L 2N4
Salary: $19.11 hourly / 40 hours per week
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time, Shift, Day, Weekend
Starts as soon as possible

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Job Duties
• Handling animals
• Monitoring animal health
• Perform pig littering activities such as clipping needle teeth, docking tails, administering iron and other medication(s), identification of piglets, and castration
• Track and report on current feed inventory
• Weaning
• Feed and tend animals
• Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs
• Select livestock for sale
• Maintain livestock performance records, Maintain work records and logs
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, Tractor, Farm Truck
• Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
• Perform general farm duties
