Job Summary We are looking for two experienced Automotive Body Repair Shop Supervisors to oversee daily operations at our collision repair centre on alternating schedules. The successful candidates will assist the Shop Manager, supervise a team of approximately 10 staff, and ensure quality and safety standards are met across all shifts.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the Shop Manager with daily operations, covering alternating shifts to ensure continuous supervision
Supervise and coordinate the activities of approximately 10 automotive body repairers, refinishers, and other shop staff
Establish work schedules and procedures, and coordinate activities with other work units or departments
Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports
Requisition materials and supplies
Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
Train or arrange for training of staff
Recommend measures to improve productivity and quality of work
Recruit and hire staff as required
May perform the same duties as workers supervised
Requirements
Completion of secondary school
Several years of experience as an automotive body repairer or in a related trade
Supervisory experience an asset
Strong knowledge of automotive collision repair and safety inspection standards
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work alternating/rotating schedules
Valid driver’s license
Language: English
