JM EDUCATION COQUITLAM LTD is looking for Tutors for Secondary School Subjects!

Position: Tutor for Secondary School Subjects (Permanent)
Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week (Full-time)
Hourly Wage: Between $20.00 – $27.00per hour (to be negotiated) (Overtime pay will be paid at a-time-and-a-half for the time after 8hrs/day and over 40 hrs/wk.)
Benefit: 4% vacation pay added into each pay cheque or 10 days paid vacation
Working Location: 3020 Lincoln Avenue, Unit 107, Coquitlam, BC, V3B 6B4

Duties and Responsibilities including but not limited to the following:
– Enhance students’ educational progress, development, and progression.
– Display proficiency in the elementary to high school subject(s) and curriculum.
– Foster a mindset focused on growth in both student learning and teaching methods.
– Encourage the development of problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
– Work collaboratively with parents and the institution to improve student achievement.

Qualifications:
– Enrollment in or completion of post-secondary school in a related secondary school subjects.
– No experience is required but is an asset.
– Excellent English writing and communication skills.
