Job Description

Job Duties:
(a) Feed and tend to cattle.
(b) Assist in animal husbandry activities
(c) Maintain records of feed inventory
(d) Sort, brand, and handle cattle
(e) Maintain cleanliness of maintenance facilities and farm structure including fence lines, stables, barns and barnyard.
(f) Clean barns, sheds, barn yards and cattle pens.
(g) Maintain comfortable environments cattle.
(h) Monitor health of cattle and provide care.
(i) May Record animals progress report.
(j) Prepare livestock for transportation.
(k) May operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
(l) Maintain and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in cattle barns and pens

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time

Wage: 15.55 per hour
Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
Location of work: Russell, MB
Work Setting: Rural – Cattle Farm Location
