Job Description:

– Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
– Wage: $ 21.18 per hour
– Work Location: 170 Fulford-Ganges Rd, Salt Spring Island, BC V8K 2T8
– Business address: Same as above
– Hours of work: 30 – 40 hours per week
– Benefit: 10 days of paid vacation or 4% of gross salary

Job Duties:
-Prepare, make, and cook various types of Japanese dish.
-Follow proper plate presentation and garnish setup for special dishes.
-Prepare and make sauces for menu dishes.
-Maintain inventory and records of food items such as beef, pork, fish, and vegetables.
-Prepare and cook according to customers’ allergies and tolerances.
-Train and supervise Kitchen helpers.

Job Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school is preferred but not required.
Experience: Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in this field or three-year apprenticeship program for cooks or Completion of college or other program in cooking or food safety
