Responsibilities & Tasks:

Supervise workers and projects

Co-ordinate and schedule activities

Oversee apprenticeship training and train or arrange for training

Set up machines and equipment

Ensure health and safety regulations are followed

Recommend personnel actions

Read blueprints and drawings

Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies

Supervision of Bricklayers and Labourers

Requirements:

Education: Other trades certificate or diploma

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

Languages: English

Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling

Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, organized, reliability, team player

Transportation/Travel: Valid driver’s licence, own transportation, willing to travel

Equipment: Must provide own steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles
