Honeybees Child Care Centre is looking for a qualified Early Childhood Educator Supervisor.

Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Supervisor (NOC 42202)
Employer: Friendly Time Daycare Ltd. dba. Honeybees Child Care Centre
Working Location: 2099 Lougheed Hwy, Port Coquitlam, BC V3B1A8
Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week
Wage: $37 per hour ($ 6 per hour of BC Government Wage Enhancement included.)
You will be compensated at one and a half times of regular hourly wage for any working hours exceeding 8 hours per day OR 40 hours per week.
Benefit: 4 % Vacation fee remuneration

Job Duties:
• Design and provide childcare programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social
development of children.
• Plan activities by reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
• Create and maintain a healthy and safe environment for protecting children.
• Evaluate the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress or problems with parents and other staff members.
• Detect the signs of potential learning or behavioural problems of children and prepare reports for parents and guardians.
• Teach children to eat properly, dress appropriately, and develop appropriate toilet habits.
• Build collaborative relationships with employees and community service providers working with children.
• Supervise and suggest activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants.

Qualifications:
• Experience: 3-5 years of work experience in Childcare is required.
• Education: A College Certificate or diploma in early childhood education is required.
• Certificate: First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate and E.C.E. Certificate
