Here are some of the main activities and tasks that construction foreman does, and some of the physical demands they involve: Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of workers who using high pressure water equipment’s to preform cleaning of buildings and forms of concrete and other building materials, and at construction work sites, walks and driveways to keeps free of debris. Establish method to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other project supervisors or manager. Requisition materials and supplies. Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity. Train or arrange for training of workers. Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions. Prepare production and other reports. May also supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of related apprentices, helpers and laborers.
