Job Description

One full-time vacancy. Work Monday to Friday from 9 AM – 5:30 PM for 40 hours/week. Duties include administering medications, assisting with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, preparing and serving nutritious meals, accompanying the recipient of care to medical appointments. Tasks also include light housekeeping and laundering household linens. The successful candidate will exhibit patience in the provision of companionship and personal care. Non-smoking and scent sensitive working environment.

Required languages: English

Education level: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Required skills: Physical capabilities include bending, crouching, and kneeling, a combination of sitting, standing and walking. Handling weight of 45-60 kgs (100-132 lbs).

Additional skills / Assets: Immunization, criminal and vulnerable sector checks all required. Must be punctual, dependable, possess excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills, be flexible, and show initiative. Must possess good judgement, be organized and reliable. Must have a client focus.
