Job Description

The Parts Service Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the parts, inventory, receiving, ordering, and service-support activities required for AGD Auto Glass Direct’s auto glass, tire, rim, and body parts operations. The employee will oversee parts staff and related workers, assign daily tasks, monitor parts availability, and ensure that windshields, glass products, tires, rims, adhesives, mouldings, clips, body parts, tools, and supplies are properly ordered, received, labelled, stored, tracked, and issued for customer jobs and technician use.

The supervisor will maintain accurate inventory records, prepare and track work orders, coordinate with suppliers and service technicians, handle parts inquiries, assist with customer and insurance-related service needs, resolve parts shortages or order discrepancies, and ensure that parts are available on time for scheduled shop and mobile service appointments. The role also includes training staff, monitoring safe handling of automotive glass and parts, preparing inventory and service reports, recommending improvements to stock control and workflow, and supporting efficient customer service and repair operations.

Required languages: English

Education level: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate

Required skills: The position requires experience in parts service, inventory control, shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, automotive parts, auto glass, tires, rims, or a related service environment

Additional skills / Assets: Completion of secondary school is required. A diploma or certificate in business, supply chain, inventory management, automotive service, or a related field is an asset.
