Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop, implement and administer human resources policies, programs and procedures relating to staffing, employee relations, compensation, benefits, training and workplace practices.
• Advise management and employees on the interpretation and application of human resources policies, procedures and employment practices.
• Assist management with staffing requirements, workforce planning, recruitment and employee placement activities.
• Develop and maintain job descriptions, occupational classifications and competency requirements for various positions within the organization.
• Coordinate and administer employee recruitment, onboarding and orientation programs.
• Plan and coordinate employee training, career development and other employee development programs.
• Assist with the administration of employee performance appraisal programs and provide guidance to managers regarding performance management.
• Advise employees and management regarding employee relations matters, workplace concerns, policies and procedures.
• Assist in addressing employee grievances, workplace issues and disputes in accordance with company policies and established procedures.
• Research and provide information regarding compensation, employee benefits and workplace practices.
• Assist in developing and administering employee benefit, wellness, health and safety and other employee-related programs.
• Maintain confidential and accurate employee records, HR files and human resources information.
• Prepare HR reports, correspondence, presentations, workforce information and other documents for management.
• Collect and analyze HR and workforce information and assist management with identifying staffing and organizational requirements.
Employment Requirements
Education
• College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, preferably in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Commerce or a related field.
Experience
• 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in human resources, personnel administration, employee relations, staffing, training, compensation or a related HR function.

Wage and Working Conditions
Wage: $40.00 per hour
Hours: 35–40 hours per week
Employment: Permanent, Full-Time
