845 Spud Farms Ltd., located at 84042 Highway 845, Coaldale, AB, is seeking a Farm Equipment Operator. Full-time, permanent position. English speaking workplace. Rural Area.

Wage: $39.50/hour
Education: High School
Experience: 3-5 years

Duties:
-Perform preventative maintenance, inspection, diagnosis, repair, overhaul and testing of agricultural equipment and machinery.
-Inspect equipment and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic faults.
-Repair, hydraulic systems, steering, brakes and other equipment components.
-Use diagnostic tools and manufacturer specifications to identify and resolve equipment issues.
-Install, assemble, adjust and replace equipment components as required.
-Complete welding and fabrication of new equipment, components and custom assemblies.
-Perform welding and fabrication of new equipment, components and custom assemblies.
-Perform in-season emergency repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
-Test repaired equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
-Maintain accurate service, repair, and maintenance records.
-Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
-Communicate equipment issues and repair needs with manangement.

Employment Requirements:
(Employee is required or willing to obtain the following)
-Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license (Class 1 is considered an asset)
-First Air Certificate
-Willingness to work weekends during the busy season and occasional weekends during the shipping season.
-Employees are responsible for providing their own steel-toed boots and coveralls.
