Job Description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, assemble and serve milk tea, fresh fruit tea, brewed tea, slushes, fresh milk beverages, toppings and desserts.
• Assign daily duties and prepare employee work schedules according to customer volume, operating hours and staffing requirements.
• Monitor the preparation of tea bases, fresh fruit, pearls, sago, jellies, puddings and other ingredients to ensure freshness, proper portioning and compliance with established recipes.
• Ensure that all beverages and food items are prepared accurately, efficiently and consistently according to SunTea’s recipes, presentation requirements and quality control standards.
• Estimate and order milk, fresh fruit, toppings, packaging materials, cleaning products and other food and non-food supplies required for daily operations.
• Receive and inspect deliveries, verify product quantities and quality, rotate stock and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Train new and existing employees in drink preparation, equipment operation, customer service, sanitation, allergen awareness and workplace safety procedures.
• Monitor employee performance and provide guidance to ensure efficient service, accurate order preparation and a positive customer experience.
• Ensure that drink preparation stations, food counters, storage areas, equipment and customer service areas are clean, organized and properly sanitized.
• Resolve customer concerns regarding orders, product quality and service, and report significant issues to management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• 2+ years of experience in food preparation or service
• Strong organizational, communication, leadership and customer service skills.

Wage: CAD 20.5-22.5/Hour
Work Hours: 30-40 Hours per Week

Required languages: English

Education level: Secondary School or above

Required skills: 2+ years of experience in food preparation or service
