Position Summary
Learners in the Schools of Community Studies, Health and Wellness, and Technology as well as in University Transfer and Open Studies take one or more Arts and Sciences courses, e.g. English, Communications, Sociology, Psychology, Women’s Studies, Politics, Philosophy, Indigenous Studies, Anatomy and Physiology, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.

We are currently looking for instructors for the Winter 2025 term to teach the following course:

INDG1101 – Introduction to Indigenous Studies (there are offerings on campus, synchronous online [evenings], and asynchronous online)

Position responsibilities and accountabilities include but are not limited to:
Instructs courses as assigned.
Provides instruction in a variety of modes including face-to-face, asynchronous online, and synchronous online.
Supports learners as they progress through each course.

Required qualifications:
Master’s degree in a related discipline.
3 years of post-secondary teaching experience.
An equivalent combination of directly related education and experience may be considered.

This opening is a casual Faculty position. Please note all successful candidates will be required to provide copies of government issued identification and proof of educational qualifications upon hire and may be required to provide an enhanced police information check.
