Wendy’s (Kelowna – Harvey Avenue) is looking for five (5) Full-Time Food Counter Attendants (NOC 65201)! This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week, $17.40 per hour, with extended health benefits after 3 months of working.
Job Description:
• Take customers’ orders
• Clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs using manual and electric appliances
• Portion, assemble, and wrap food or place it directly on plates for service to patrons, and package take-out food
• Use equipment to prepare beverages
• Serve customers at counters
• Stock refrigerators and keep records of the quantities of food used
• Receive payment for food items purchased
• Keep workplace clean, sweep and mop floors
• Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers
• Working days are 5 days a week with varying shifts. Shift scheduling includes weekend, day, late evening, and mid-night shifts.
Job Requirements:
• On-the-job training is provided
• Previous experience in food service is an asset
• Language in the workplace is English
