Education Requirements: Alberta Structural License and Alberta Exterior Rodent License

Experience: 1+ years experience

Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel to various job sites, as required.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Hand-eye co-ordination, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods. Ability to lift heavy objects, may be required.

Work Location Information: Relocation costs not covered by employer.

Work Site Environment: Will vary based on job-site location. A combination of indoor and outdoor environments.

Required languages: English

Education level: High School

Required skills: Inspect / Monitor Commercial and Residential buildings. Inside and out areas at regular intervals or at specific request of property owner to detect signs of infestation. Prepare and apply pesticide mixture on infested areas using hand placement, mechanical, and electric sprayers to exterminate exterior and interior crawling insects. Prepare, monitor, and apply rodenticides to commercial and residential sectors with the purpose of exterminating infestations of rodents. Prepare, monitor, and apply rodent baits for the purpose of extermination of ground squirrels from large exterior areas. Conduct onsite meetings with current and potential customers for the purpose of sales and customer retention.

Additional skills / Assets: Some construction knowledge required for the purpose of excluding wildlife from building structures. Place and set traps to capture and remove animals from property and install animal control barriers to keep animals off property. Clean out areas that harbor pests using readily available tools such as rakes, shovels, brooms or mops.
