Job Description

Red Deer Catalina Swim Club (RDCSC) requires a full-time Age Group Swim Coach in Red Deer, Alberta.

Vacancies: 1 Vacancy
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time 32 hours / week
Start date: August 19, 2024
Employment conditions: Overtime, Early Morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend

Security and Safety: Basic security clearance, medical test, Criminal record check, Child Abuse registry check, Adult Abuse registry check

Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available. Willing to travel.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically fit to work in an active environment, with a combination of sitting, standing (including for extended periods), walking on pool deck, in gym and fitness facilities.

Work Site Environment: Air conditioned, swimming pool, fitness facilities indoors and outdoors

Area of Specialization: Must be eligible for registration and membership with Swim Alberta, Swimming Canada and CSCTA, and hold a Canadian National Coaching Certification as a Level II coach (or a comparative certification from an equivalent organization). A minimum of 3 years coaching experience. Proven record in developing and implementing training for a competitive club.
