We are currently looking to hire an experienced automotive service technician to fulfil the position in the shop.

Position Responsibilities & Duties
• Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor;
• Inspect motor in operation, road test motor vehicle, and test automotive systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults;
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems including fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment;
• Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications;
• Performing routine automotive maintenance tasks, which could include oil change, tire rotation, battery installations, headlight and taillight installations, transmission work/flushes, air conditioner recharges, and front-end alignments;
• Maintaining knowledge of current industry best practices
• Maintaining paperwork and customer records
• Advise customers on work performed, general vehicle condition and future repair requirements;

• Required Qualifications & Experience
– At least a complete secondary education
– Fluency in English
– A minimum of 5-7 years of experience as an automotive service technician
– Knowledge and ability to operate auto repair tools
– Knowledge and ability to use diagnostic tools
– Well-versed in the use of automotive tools in general
– Strong communication skills
