Line Cook

Job Title: Line Cook (NOC: 63200)
Employer: Sarpino’s Pizzeria
Location: 7143 W Saanich Rd #100, Brentwood Bay, BC V8M 1P7
Wage: $20 per hour for 40 hours a week

Education
• Minimum: completion of Secondary education

Experience
• At least 1 year to less than 2 years work experience as a cook or related field.

Duties:
– Cooking menu items using various kitchen gadgets and cooking methods.
– Maintaining a clean kitchen station and work area.
– Preparing meat, vegetables, garnishes and other ingredients to be used for cooking.
-Plans menus, determine size of food preparations, estimate food requirements and costs.
-Inspect kitchen and food service areas.
– Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
– Keeping a stock inventory records.
– Preparing tasty meals for customers on time.
– Bake a wide variety of pizza dough, including thin crust, thick crust and cheese – stuffed
