Catholic Children’s Aid Society of Hamilton seeks interested and qualified applicants for:

Summer Student – Fund Development Assistant
Reporting to: Director, Fund Development and Communications
Classification: Full Time Temporary (For the months of July and August); 35 hours weekly.
Type of Posting: Summer Student
Job Location: This position is based at our office.
Salary: $19.50/hour
Starting Date: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities
The Fund Development Assistant would provide support to the fund development department with aspects of fundraising and communications including:
• Producing and sending letters and other donor correspondence
• Outreach to community suppliers, vendors and groups
• Assisting with donor relations
• Assisting with collection of sponsor prizes and event donations
• Comply with Health and Safety policies and the Ontario Health and Safety Act
• Performs other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications
• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program.
• Ability to write concise, clear notes.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable with speaking on the telephone in-person visits.
