JOB DETAILS
Salary: $26.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time

Employment conditions: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Early Morning, Morning

Start date: Starts as soon as possible

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work site environment: Outdoors

Specific Tasks/Responsibilities:
• Participate in field surveys, inspections or technical investigations.
• Prepare construction specifications, costs and material estimates.

EXPERIENCE AND SPECIALIZATION
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word

Civil engineering experience: Roads and highways

Area of specialization: Geotechnical

Security and safety: Criminal record check

Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Handling heavy loads, Attention to detail, Ability to distinguish between colours, Sound discrimination, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods
