Position: Cook

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience requirement: 1 year to less than 2 years

Start Date: As soon as possible
Wage: $17/hour, 35 to 40 hours per week.

Job Duties:
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual East Indian food dishes as per customer orders.
• Pay attention to spice level, allergy or intolerance on food order.
• Prepare gravies and flour for cooking.
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements, monitor stock and prepare requisition list.
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Supervise and assign duties to kitchen helpers.
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Manage kitchen operations
