Job Description:
– Position: Apprentice Butcher
– Employer: WIT Foods Inc.

– Wage: $23.00 per hour
– Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week
– Benefit: 4% of salary for vacation remuneration or 10 days of paid vacation.

Job Duties:
– Cut, bone, and prepare standard cuts of meat, poultry, fish, and shellfish.
– Grind and slice meats using powered grinders and slicing machines.
– Shape, lace and tie roasts and other meats, poultry, or fish.
– Manage inventory of meat and fish records and determine amount, product freshness according to company requirements.
– Make sure food storage conditions are adequate at the required temperature.

Job Requirements:
– Education: Completion of High School is required.
– Experience: No formal experience is required as on-the-job training is provided. But 1 month to 6 months of experience is preferred.
