Job Description

Alpine Cafe & Catering Co. is seeking a hard-working Cook (63200) for their business operation in Whistler, BC. We are looking for a long-term and full-time employee.

Duties:

• Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required;
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications;
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently;
• Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation;
• Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes.

Work conditions:

• Wage: $20/hour
• Full-time, permanent job offer
• Working location: Whistler, BC
• 30-40 hours per week
• Overtimes are paid at 1.5 rate for hours exceeding 40
• 4% vacation pay

Requirements:

• Must have completed high school
• Must be able to communicate in English
• Committed, responsible and punctual
• Must be willing and able to work overtime as required
• Must be reliable and dependable and detail-oriented
• Must have previous experience
