• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
• Hire food service staff
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
• Establish work schedules
• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Ensure food safety and quality control standards
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Prepare and submit daily reports
• Assist in the development of policies and procedures
• May perform the same duties as supervised staff

ability to supervise: 5-10 people; Food service counter attendants and food preparers

terms of employment: permanent full-time; 35-40 hours per week
