Job Description
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead Production Operation:
• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of production workers to achieve production targets and meet quality standards.
• Assign tasks and monitor work progress to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of production schedules.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
• Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols.
2. Production Planning and Coordination:
• Collaborate with the production planning team to develop production schedules, allocate resources, and ensure materials availability.
• Monitor production activities to identify bottlenecks, resolve issues, and optimize production processes for maximum efficiency.
• Coordinate with other departments (such as Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Continues Improvement and Warehouse) to address production-related concerns and maintain smooth operations.
3. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
• Enforce strict adherence to quality control procedures, product specifications, and regulatory requirements to ensure consistent product quality.
• Conduct regular inspections and notify quality department of issues, process deviations and non-conformances.
• Investigate root causes of quality incidents, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reliability.
4. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
• Monitor production performance metrics, including output, scrap rates, downtime, and labor utilization, and take corrective actions as necessary.
• Generate production reports, analyze data, and provide insights to management regarding production efficiency, capacity utilization, and areas for improvement.
• Implement and maintain visual management systems to track production progress, display key performance indicators, and promote a culture of accountability.
5. Continues Improvement
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, and cost savings in production operations.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects, applying Lean Manufacturing principles. Such as 5S, Kaizen and Root Cause Analysis.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving among the production team to drive continuous improvement and operational excellent.
Qualifications:
• Diploma or above in a relevant field (such as Industrial Engineering, Operations Management) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Production Team Lead or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in contract manufacturing or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control principles and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality output.
• Proficient in using manufacturing software and systems for production planning, tracking, and reporting.
• Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
COMPENSATION: CAD 27.5-30.5/Hour
WORK HOURS: 40 Hours per Week

Education level: Diploma or above in a relevant field (such as Industrial Engineering, Operations Management) or equivalent experience.
Required skills: Proven experience as a Production Team Lead or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in contract manufacturing or related industries.
