Overview:
We are seeking a reliable Truck Driver to join our team.

Duties:
– Transport materials and goods over long distances by operating and driving mainly straight-body trucks, long-combination vehicles, and tractor-trailors.
– Arrange the details of your journey and secure the paperwork needed to ship products.
– Inspect the vehicle’s systems, accessories, and equipment—such as the tyres, brakes, cold storage, lights, and turn signals—before, during, and after the trip.
– Acquire the additional paperwork and special permits needed to transport goods across international borders.
– Keep track of the distance travelled, fuel used, hours of service, and cargo information.
– Manage bills of lading and keep log books up to date, either electronically or manually.
– Use on-board computers and other communication devices to interact with the dispatcher, other drivers, and customers.
– May carry out last-minute roadside fixes.
– Maybe a driver in a convoy or two-person team.

Requirements:
– Completion of Secondary School
– A Class 1 or A license is required to drive long combination vehicles.

Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time, 40 hours a week
