Job Title: Aide, Health Care (NOC: 33102)
Employer: Saint Francis Manor by the Sea
Location: 1128 Dallas Rd, Victoria, BC V8V 1B9
Wage: $25 per hour for 40 hours a week

Job Requirements:

Languages
• English

Education
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience
• At least 3 years to less than 5 years of work as a health care aide or related field.

Duties:
• Attend calls signals of the patients/residents promptly
• Assist the patients/residents with their daily living activities such as eating, showering, dressing and using the toilet
• Take and monitor the patients’ vital signs such as blood pressure and temperature and report on their conditions
• Perform other procedures as directed by nursing and hospital staff
• Transport and accompany patients on outside recreational activities and perform other duties related to patient care and comfort
• Make beds and tidy the patients’ rooms
• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support.
