Bread Co. in downtown Kelowna, BC is looking for two Full-Time Food Counter Attendants (NOC 65201-5)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 30-40 hours per week, $17.00/hour, plus tips.
Job Description:
• Take customers’ orders
• Receive payment for food items purchased
• Clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs using manual and electric appliances
• Portion, assemble, and wrap food or place it directly on plates for service to patrons, and package take-out food
• Use equipment to prepare hot beverages such as coffee and tea specialties
• Serve customers at counters and tables
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars and keep records of the quantities of food used
• Clean work area as needed.
Job Requirements:
• Experience working at a café or restaurant is an asset
• Language in the workplace is English
