Dre’s Hair Salon and Beauty Supplies is looking for three (3) Full-Time Stylists (NOC 63210-3)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 30-40 hours per week, $17.40/hour, plus tips.
Job Description:
• Suggest hairstyle compatible with client’s physical features or determine style from client’s instructions and preferences
• Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair
• Analyze hair and scalp condition and provide basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair
• Clean and style wigs and hair pieces
• Apply hair extensions
• Shampoo and rinse hair
• Perform receptionist duties and order supplies
• Assist in training or supervising other hairstylists, hairstylist apprentices and helpers.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 1-2 years experience as a hairstylist
• Previous experience doing cornrows with extensions, wig making, weaving, braiding (box braids, feeding braids), and crochet is an asset
• Language in the workplace is English
