Hector’s Casa is looking for a Full-Time Chef (NOC 62200-2)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, $21.35/hour, with benefits.
Job Description:
• Supervise activities of cooks and other kitchen staff
• Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff
• Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods on a regular basis
• Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
• Create new recipes
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience as Chef
• Must have some culinary training (asset)
• Language in the workplace is English
Benefits:
• Hourly wage plus commissions
• Dental and extended medical after 6 months
