Job Description

Test equipment to locate transmission faults.
Determine nature, cause and location of trouble.
Read and interpret blueprints.
Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders or other support structures.
Determine work assignments.
Inspect, test and repair cable signals and associated equipment.
Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers and amplifiers.
Splice, join and connect wires.
Repair or replace defective telephone equipment.

Required languages: English

Education level: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience

Required skills: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure.
