About the Role
The Nanny will provide care for our 1-year-old and 6-year-old children in our home, while also taking care of meal preparation and assisting with household chores, especially when the parents are at work.

We are searching for a nurturing nanny to become a part of our warm and loving household. We highly value the strong connection between our nanny and our children and are looking for someone who can provide a safe and engaging environment for our little one. Additionally, it’s worth noting that we both work full time.
Reports to: Parents of Children
Work Location: Employer’s Home
Salary: $16.00/hour
Period of Employment: 3 years
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive care for our 1-year-old and 6-year-old children in our home.
Bathe, dress, and feed the children.
Prepare and handle formulas and diaper changes as necessary.
Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals for the children.
Perform light household chores, including tidying and laundry and light housekeeping.
Follow parental guidance to manage children’s routines, including meals and rest times.
Foster a safe and nurturing environment within our home.
Teach children about personal hygiene practices.
Attend to the emotional well-being of the children and support their social development.
Implement discipline methods as per parental preferences.
Organize age-appropriate educational activities, including games, crafts, reading, and outings.
Help with school homework.
Take children to and from school and to appointments.
Maintain records of daily activities and children’s health information, if required.
Ability to speak Tagalog or Cebuano is an asset.
Qualifications:
Must be a high school graduate
Holding a First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate, especially in emergency childcare first aid, is essential
ECE certification or other training in childcare and development preferred
COVID-19 vaccination required
Prior experience as a nanny or babysitter is preferred
A strong grasp of child development at various ages is important.
Capable of supervising children and handling housekeeping tasks
Ability to devise creative educational and engaging activities for children
A hands-on approach and a preference for actively engaging with the child
Effective multitasking skills
A friendly and patient demeanor
Strong attention to detail
Flexibility to work different shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and occasional full days
Demonstrated knowledge, awareness, and sensitivity to diverse cultures and traditions
